UpTown Gallery Takes Part in Local Art Events

Since its inception, UpTown Gallery has been active participants in the local arts scene.

Here are some of the local art events we have taken part in:

  • Culture Days, since 2011
  • ArtWorks Show and Sale at Bingemans, since 2007
  • Art in the Streets, Waterloo Town Square and Kitchener Farmers' Market, June 2010
  • Spotlight Festival, June 2008 and 2009
  • Waterloo Arts Festival, Waterloo Park, August 2006 and 2007
  • Celebrity Draw-In, Waterloo Town Square, July 2006

In 2007, UpTown Gallery artists painted original banners to adorn Waterloo Town Square in honour of the annual Waterloo Jazz Festival.

UpTown Gallery is a proud supporter of the Mary Allen Studio Tour and the Kissing Bridge Trail Studio Tour.

Rotating Art Installation at CIGI

Art by a number of UpTown Gallery artists is installed at the Centre for International Governance Innovation. The Reach Out for Art program was initiated by CIGI and UpTown Gallery to showcase art by local artists to the international visitors to CIGI.
